Our director, Jas, formed Volume Metric Concrete back in 2006 with a view to provide tradesmen and industrial projects with concrete and screed they can trust. Having started his career in the construction industry age, Jas was well aware of the need for a reliable and affordable concrete and screed provider in South East London and Kent.

To hone his skills, gain extensive experience and work out exactly what the market required, he worked as a mobile concrete pump operative for a national construction company from the late 90s, right up until VMC’s inception.

Working on large-scale jobs piqued his interest in Volume Metric Mixers, which were deemed relevantly new from 2004-2006. VMC was one of the first companies to operate Volumetric Mixers alongside the supply of conventional Ready-Mix Concrete and meet BSI standards. The knowledge of our expert team has been obtained by being hands on in the market.

Volumetric and Ready-Mix Truck Mixers are our area expertise. We currently operate 4 Volumetric Mixers and 4 Ready-Mix trucks, with more already on the way. We manage our trucks competently to ensure nothing ever arrives late or is incorrectly loaded. Our concrete pumps are line pumps, which can pump 30m3 per hour, at a maximum distance of 70 linear meters. We also have a 24mtr mobile pump for larger pours, with an impressive output of 90m3 per hour.
